These are photos of my backpacking trip to the Smokies in June last summer. I spent four days out. I was there primarily to visit the azaleas on Gregory Bald. Those azaleas were the most spectacular that I had seen in years, but the entire walk was wonderful. Some friends that I met on the trail brought a much better camera. Their photos can be seen here.
